Das Original dieses Instrumentes befindet sich im Musikinstrumenten- Museum, Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung, Berlin. Es ist dreiteilig, aus Buchsbaum, mit Ringen und Kappe aus Elfenbein und einer Silberklappe. Wegen der Stimmung a¹ = 410 Hz denke ich, dass es um 1730 gebaut wurde.

The Original of this instrument is located at the Musikinstrumenten- Museum, Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung, Berlin. It has three parts, of european boxwood, with cap and rings of ivory. Because of its pitch of a =  410 I think it was built at around 1730.

Ich baue aus europäischem Buchsbaum, Ebenholz oder Grenadill, mit einer Silberlklappe und Kappe und Ringe aus Kunstelfenbein, in a¹ = 415, 410 oder 392 Hz. Es besitzt einen dunklen Klang mit dem Umfang von d2 - e4 (f4).

I build it in european boxwood, ebony or blackwood, with a silver key and cap  rings of artificial ivory, in a = 415, 410 or 392 Hz. It has a dark sound with a range of d2 to e4(f4)
